Puglia is one of the regions in Italy with the highest number of sites of historical, cultural and environmental interest. Thanks to its strategic position the Masseria Brancati is ideally situated to give fast and easy access to the most important locations in the area. In a few minutes you can visit the crypts of hermetic monks, sanctuaries, nature reserves, old town centres and Neolithic and Palaeolithic sites (the most important being a cave, also called the cave of motherhood, where they have found a young pregnant woman dating back to 25,000 years). In just 15 minutes by car you can visit Egnazia, an archaeological site, Martina Franca, Oria, or enjoy the typical landscapes such as ones found in the Valle d’Itria, Alberobello, Castellana with its splendid caves or the marvellous castles found in the Medieval old town centres. Also, just 15 minutes away by car you can visit the Zoosafari of Fasano. Next to the Zoosafari is the “Fantasilandia” amusement park. A little bit more than an hour away you can visit towns of exceptional beauty such as Otranto, Lecce, Gallipoli, Trani, Castel del Monte and in about two hours you can visit the famous rock dwellings of Matera, San Giovanni Rotondo, etc.
